Garden Design Skipton
When a client contacts you to say thank you for creating their dream garden space, it means a lot to me. So I thought I'd share with you the case study of this Project Garden Design in Skipton.
From beginning to end you'll see all of the steps as we cover them, not just in words, but in glorious Technicolour too! Consultation
Meeting with my client for the first time was a great learning experience. Finding out about what their dream garden entailed was truly fascinating. But at the same time, so vivid and descriptive. We discussed some potential ideas and I made my notes as usual.
Survey
Along with the notes from the consultation went all of the garden measurements. As you can see there were lots of notes to make. In this project there were building works to be completed, including retaining wall and also a raised and decked platform which needed particular details taking. All in a days work for me.
Once all of the information and soil samples have been taken, it's back to the design studio to work on some artist impressions for the next stage. The Concept Plan
Master Plan - Dream Garden
This is the technical bit and I've had people switch off and doze off art this part, but for my client and for me, it's one of the most exciting parts of the garden design process. This is a technical blueprint of the new garden space. Scaled drawings, elevations and dimensions. It contains all the information to make the dream come true.
Doing the Job
Often with projects like this there are several contractors working on the new garden from the start to the finish. So liaising with and engaging those contractors, organising them helps keep them to the plan.
At the same time, the planting plan is made, so that the final space will look as the artist impression that the client loved. Want more information?
So you've seen some of what can be done, but you still have questions? That's no problem at all. Why not give Philip a call or contact him via the website. Whether you're considering something like this yourself or even if you want to talk about general gardening. Your call is always welcome.
