You'd have to see it with your own eyes to believe it's the same garden but what we here at Nettleton Garden Design did with this Skipton Garden space is nothing short of stunning.

The Garden Before

Ok, we know calling it a garden is a bit of a stretch, but it's an outdoor space and the family at this home in Skipton wanted to create a more open and level space for them to be able to enjoy.

There were several over grown trees, shrubs, bushes and vines about the huge garden space, with no real edges or boundaries to anything. In short it was a bit of a jungle.

The Transformation

Transforming this garden space from the uneven, and unruly "natural" look of a wild garden into the wide open space that the family wanted involved a lot of ground works and clearing. It's one of the services we provide here at Nettleton Garden Design.
We mapped out a plan of how the client wanted the space and created the master plan for them to see in advance.

Organising all of the different services and people needed to create this space is another of our services. Having worked in the industry for many years, I'm fairly well connected with some excellent trades people and can always rely upon them to give me and my clients their best.

The Garden Reborn

Finally when the plan comes together, the last job is to let the newly added turf bed into the ground and for that we need a bit of time and sunshine! Here's hoping!

In the meantime, the garden is already a great hit with our client who is over the moon for having a newly created oasis that she's never had before. We're already talking about phase 2 of the project and looking to introduce a little colour for the spring. Watch this space.
